Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation in Asheville, NC is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure projects meet drawings, specs, and schedules.

The role requires coordinating with the project manager, monitoring safety, manpower, and quality, and proactively resolving issues with architects, engineers, and owner representatives to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years commercial construction supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of construction disciplines, scheduling, safety regulations.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate subcontractor performance.
• Basic computer skills; construction software experience favored.

Responsibilities

• Supervises subcontractors and liaises with architects, engineers, owner's representatives and inspectors.
• Plans the work schedule, holds site meetings, and monitors manpower, materials and equipment.
• Oversees performance to ensure schedule, safety, quality and inspections compliance.
• Advises project manager of potential problems and proactively resolves issues.
