Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead moderately complex construction projects in Charlotte, NC. You will direct project execution, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, while upholding JE Dunn’s safety culture and standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of construction management, a bachelor’s degree in construction management, and proven ability to drive project success through strong leadership and collaboration with owners, design teams, and field staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years construction management experience with leadership capability.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of medium to large construction projects and ensure safety culture.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities including takeoffs and bid packages.
• Develop and manage project schedule; monitor resources and procurement.
• Lead meetings, manage submittals, changes and pay applications.
• Interface with owners, architects, subcontractors and internal teams.
