Job summary

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Management Lead to join our CPS team in the Western U.S. This role is home-based with travel across the region, based in San Francisco or Los Angeles.

You will lead end-to-end delivery of complex lighting control, window systems, and smart-building projects from design through handover. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing budgets and schedules, building senior client relationships, driving service revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in large-scale projects
• Advanced commercial and contract negotiation skills preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce or other project management tools preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
• Valid US driver’s license required
• Home-based position requiring travel within the Western US; reside in San Francisco or Los Angeles
• This position requires authorization to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply a full technical understanding of the Commercial portfolio of lighting control and window system solutions
• Design and oversee customized lighting and controls solutions that align with client requirements
• Learn and apply new technology and processes to solve technical and logistical challenges
• Represent Lutron at all levels of construction project meetings
• Drive resolution to problems at a customer jobsite
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects from design through commissioning and handover
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, budgets, submittals, and risk mitigation
• Serve as primary contact for key accounts and build trusted relationships
