Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee utility and civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will lead field operations, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in construction management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and communication skills to deliver high-quality projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, and client relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee utility, civil construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Provide leadership, coordination, and support to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Develop budgets and detailed schedules with the Superintendent and PM.
• Coordinate BOM verification and procurement activities.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, subcontractors, and field teams; ensure timely communication.
• Prepare progress, cost, schedule, and material usage reports; support change orders and handoffs.
• Drive safety and QA/QC inspections and corrective actions.
