M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Senior EPC Project Manager to lead major electrical utility construction projects, from planning through close-out.

You will coordinate with discipline PMs, customers, and EPC partners, ensure safety, manage scope, risk, and budgets, and drive predictable project performance across a broad geographic area. The role requires 10+ years of electrical utility experience and a civil/engineering background; leadership and communication

Competenze

• Extensive (10+ years) electrical utility experience (overhead transmission, distribution, substation, and/or foundations/civil).
• Proven project management skills on complex projects.
• Knowledge, interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiations skills.
• Strong PC skills.
• Strong managerial/leadership skills.
• Ability to provide oversight to projects across a large geographic area.
• Customer service skills.
• Supervisory Experience.
• Ability to oversee large complex projects or a portfolio of projects.

Mansioni

• Coordinate with discipline Project Managers and customers to ensure crews and contractors are aligned with contracts, budgets, forecasts and schedules.
• Demonstrate safety leadership by supporting the MJE Safety Management System and promoting proactive safety activities.
• Understand project scopes, identify risks, and ensure compliance with contractual terms and deliverables.
• Define and document scopes of work for 3rd party EPC firms; lead EPC selection and negotiations.
• Review drawings, takeoffs, estimates, and proposals to support pricing and constructability reviews.
• Provide constructability input for project development and estimating efforts.
• Assist with project scope development from development through construction.
• Keep senior management informed on progress, opportunities, and industry trends.
• Consult with stakeholders on design requirements, bid requirements, and technical solutions.
• Monitor design requirements and ensure compliance with tolerances.
• Promote standardized systems for cost reporting, billing, scheduling, procurement, and budgeting.
