Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Trade Superintendent in Prosper, TX to oversee a concrete/mechanical/pipe area. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site while reporting to the Superintendent.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strict scheduling, and travel to multiple job sites as needed. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in construction trades, OSHA 30 (preferred), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience in a trade discipline (e.g., concrete, mechanical, pipe).
• Experience leading crews or supervising work within a specific construction discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Competent person safety training and relevant certifications (Preferred).
• Willingness to travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety planning with Foreman and lead toolbox safety meetings.
• Schedule three-week lookahead for area/structure and enforce pace.
• Supervise company workforce in assigned area and coordinate subcontractors.
• Develop Foreman and Field Engineers for project growth.
• Prepare daily reports, timesheets, and assist in gathering quantities.
• Take daily and weekly photos for documentation and upload to Procore.
• Ensure quality of work by self-perform and subcontractors in area.
• Protect company assets including tools and equipment; manage items.
• Order and manage equipment, supplies, forms and materials.
