Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Trade Superintendent to manage a specific trade area on a project. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive on-site productivity while upholding quality standards.

The role requires experience in construction trades, ability to read drawings and specs, and a proven track record in scheduling and field leadership. Travel to various job sites may be required; the position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction with specialization in a trade
• Experience leading crews or supervising work within a construction discipline
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and scope related to trade work
• Competent person safety training and relevant certifications (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 certification (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required

Responsibilities

• Safety – coordinate with Foreman in planning of crews’ work and conduct toolbox safety meetings
• Schedule – assist in setting durations for the three-week schedule for the area/structure
• Coordinate and supervise company workforce in their area or structure
• Develop Foreman and Field Engineers and other skilled personnel
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and attend weekly scheduling meetings
• Maintain daily reports and timesheets; gather accurate quantities
• Take daily/weekly photos for documentation and upload to Procore
• Quality control for self-perform and subcontracted work
• Protect and care for company assets including tools and equipment
• Order and manage equipment, supplies, forms and materials
