Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. in Prosper, TX is seeking a Trade Superintendent to lead a specific construction trade area, report to the Superintendent, and ensure field execution aligns with project goals.

The role focuses on one discipline such as concrete, mechanical, or pipe, with emphasis on safety, scheduling, and quality. You will develop crew leads, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain daily project documentation, and uphold safety standards on site while traveling to job

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience in a trade discipline.
• Experience leading crews or supervising work within a trade.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs, and scope related to trade work.
• OSHA 30 certification (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Safety – Coordinate with Foreman to plan safe crew work and present toolbox safety meetings.
• Maintain safety training documentation (competent person).
• Scheduling – help set three-week area schedules and track production rates.
• Coordinate and supervise workforce in your area; set the pace of work.
• Develop Foreman and Field Engineers; mentor crew members.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors; participate in weekly meetings.
• Prepare daily reports, timesheets, and gather quantities.
• Take photos for documentation and upload to Procore.
• Quality Control – ensure self-perform and subcontractor work meets standards.
• Protect and manage company assets; order equipment and materials.
