Job summary

Closure Systems International, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee molding operations on the Erie, PA plant shift. You will manage the shift team, ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments to maintain smooth production flow.

The role requires 3–5 years in compression molding with 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity, plus strong leadership, problem-solving, and blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in compression molding in a manufacturing environment.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and understand production specifications.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily molding operations to meet production goals.
• Lead and mentor the shift production team and manage staffing.
• Monitor product quality through inspections and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance and company policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; maintain shift documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
