Job summary

System One is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee shift operations in Latrobe, PA. This onsite role reports to the manufacturing leadership and requires a strong background in injection molding and GMP/5S practices.

You will manage staffing, safety, and production metrics while ensuring quality targets are met. The position emphasizes hands-on supervision, process improvement, and collaboration with other shifts to maintain smooth operations and continuous improvement in a high-volume

Qualifications

• 5+ years of injection molding leadership experience.
• Experience with ERP/manufacturing systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety and GMP/5S practices.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all shift operations, including staffing, production output, and quality targets, to keep manufacturing running smoothly.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations throughout the shift, including PPE use and exterior door security, and complete safety observations at the required frequency.
• Direct production staff by setting expectations, scheduling and planning work, tracking progress, resolving conflicts, and troubleshooting issues.
• Partner with other shift supervisors on shift-to-shift handoffs, including a joint walk-through of the production area shortly before shift change and a review of housekeeping and work-cell status with the oncoming shift.
