This position serves as a lead operational partner in the execution of municipal events, coordinating logistics, vendors, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, and event operations while supporting marketing and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, Leisure Studies or related field.
• Two years of experience in a similar recreation or events role.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment screening, background check and eligibility verifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute community events, festivals and programs.
• Manage vendors, contractors, volunteers, sponsors and event partners.
• Plan budgets, promotions, sponsorships, and reporting.
• Develop promotional initiatives for social media and print materials.
• Maintain event records and inventory; ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with City staff and stakeholders to meet goals.
