Job summary

City of Farmers Branch is seeking an organized events support role to help plan and coordinate the City’s special events and festivals. You will assist with vendors, contractors, musicians, and entertainment, while ensuring top-tier customer service and smooth event execution.

The position requires creativity, collaboration, and initiative to deliver premier programs at city venues, with a focus on safety and efficient operations during events and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or four years of related experience.
• Experience with fast-paced events or festivals is preferred.
• Experience with vendor contracts and coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of citywide events and festivals.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, musicians, and entertainment.
• Manage event signage, participant experiences, and VIP activities.
• Support revenue and cost-recovery efforts for events.
• Maintain event databases and perform administrative tasks.
