Qualifications

• Two years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field with supervisory ability.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with listed tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install a work area outlet for floor or wall and terminate CAT 3 & CAT 5 jacks.
• Build closets with backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware.
• Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
• Complete all IDC connections and patch panels.
• Perform testing and troubleshoot circuits with volt-ohm meter and tone set.
• Identify active voice or data circuits.
• Coordinate crew and provide training to complete projects on schedule.
• Complete company paperwork (timesheets, orders, transfers) accurately and on time.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
