Consumers Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to drive business lending and deposit growth while maintaining strong client relationships. You will evaluate risks, provide credit recommendations, and close loans as part of a proactive external sales force.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in commercial lending, a proven sales track record, and possible middle-market experience. The role includes community engagement and a strong focus on customer service and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and minimum five years’ experience in commercial lending.
• Five plus years demonstrated sales and business development experience with proven results.
• Middle market lending experience preferred.
• Formal credit training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to properly service business members and grow relationships.

Responsabilités

• Achieve growth goals in business loans, deposits and other services.
• Develop and implement strategies related to new member loan and deposit growth.
• Actively participate in Community organizations to source business development opportunities.
• Provide credit recommendations to appropriate credit administration levels.
• Monitor member credit worthiness and adherence to loan terms.
• Lead generation of business deposits and loan products; initiate loan applications with complete documentation.
• Present loan requests to credit committee when appropriate.
• Sell Consumers @Work program for onsite presentations to grow membership.
