Job summary

DHR Mechanical Services, a trusted name in commercial refrigeration and HVAC, is seeking a (Lead) Refrigeration Service Technician to lead installation, service, and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems in supermarkets, warehouses, and client facilities. You will mentor junior technicians while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial HVAC/R, strong leadership, and EPA Universal Certification.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC/R experience, refrigeration preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
• EPA Universal Certification required for handling refrigerants.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment in various conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Lead service projects and mentor junior technicians.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R equipment (walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, RTUs).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot at customer sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Ensure safety, codes, and environmental regulations compliance.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting.
