Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead commercial installation projects from kickoff to startup. You will set quality, safety standards, and mentor Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers on site.

If you have 4+ years in HVAC installation, proven leadership, and EPA certification, this is your opportunity to own projects, work on rooftops and in mechanical rooms, and advance within a growing national network.

Qualifications

Minimum 4+ years in commercial or residential HVAC installation.
Proven leadership experience managing installation projects.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
EPA Certification required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

Leading commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
Reading blueprints, job specifications, and installation plans to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Coaching and developing Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
Verifying proper airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
Performing equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final quality inspections.
Communicating with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the installation process.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Completing installation documentation accurately and on time.
