Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, seeks a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead projects from kickoff to startup and mentor junior installers. You will install rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, and ductwork, reading blueprints to ensure on-time completion while enforcing safety and quality on site.

We value leadership, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to customer service. A valid license and EPA certification are required; growth within the NearU network is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to startup.
• Install and replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and ACs.
• Read blueprints and specs to keep projects on schedule.
• Mentor Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant, electrical connections, and system performance.
