Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. seeks a Senior Superintendent to direct on-site workflow in line with the project schedule and safety/quality standards. You will lead the site team, manage subcontractors, and ensure proper documentation from start to closeout while collaborating with the project manager.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in commercial construction, with a four-year degree preferred (or equivalent experience). Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred in construction, engineering or business; experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• 8–10 years’ experience in commercial construction, including GC work.
• Tenant renovations, work in occupied spaces, weekend/fast-paced projects a plus.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize resources (people, tools, time) to meet deadlines.
• Project lead or superintendent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site workflow aligned with project schedule and safety/quality standards.
• Lead site team and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain daily log, manage punch list and closeout with owner/architect.
• Collaborate with project manager on schedule and installation methods.
• Uphold safety leadership and enforce HITT safety program on site.
• Foster relationships with subcontractors and maintain site documentation.
