Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a skilled CNC programmer to design and optimize multi-axis programs for high-temperature superalloys, leveraging NX-CAM and Vericut. You will integrate new multi-million-dollar machines and collaborate with manufacturing engineers to establish baseline standards.

The role requires 3+ years in graphical CAM programming, a degreed or apprentice background, and hands-on machining experience with 5-axis systems.

Qualifications

3 years of experience with graphical CAM programming
Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs
Hands-on machining background machining high-temperature alloys (Inconel, Rene)

Responsibilities

Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for multi-axis setups
Validate code with Vericut in a virtual environment before shop floor
Develop adaptive probing routines and macro programming for complex setups
Integrate new multi-million-dollar machine tools and establish baseline standards
Mentor on the shop floor and share knowledge across the team
Provide CNC programming and troubleshooting support daily on the shop floor
Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC tools
Lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost and delivery
