Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to design and optimize multi-axis programs for high-temperature superalloys. You will validate code in a virtual environment, develop adaptive probing routines, and collaborate with manufacturing engineers to commission new equipment.

You’ll mentor floor teams, support toolholding/fixturing, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, high-precision setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associate or Machinist Apprenticeship with 3 years of CAM CNC programming or High School with 6 years CAM programming experience.
• Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs is preferred.
• Proficient with CAM software and multi-axis machining workflows.
• Ability to design efficient and repeatable processes for high-temperature alloys.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for multi-axis setups.
• Use Vericut to validate code and optimize toolpaths in a virtual environment.
• Develop adaptive probing routines and closed-loop machining processes.
• Commission new multi-million-dollar machines and establish baseline standards.
• Mentor floor teams and collaborate across departments to improve processes.
• Support and optimize toolholding, fixturing, and CNC-related work instructions.
