Actalent in Greenville, SC is seeking a CNC Programming Machinist to develop and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM, covering multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM. You will verify programs with Vericut and support manufacturing engineers with operator training during startups and process improvements.

The role requires strong CAM/CNC programming skills, tooling/fixture design experience, and familiarity with FANUC Macro B.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in NX and NX-CAM for CNC programming.
• Experience in tooling and fixture design.
• Strong CNC and CAM programming skills.
• Familiarity with FANUC Macro B for probing, tool selection, data capture, and hole location logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software, including multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
• Verify new CNC programs before release to shop floor using Vericut.
• Provide CNC support to Manufacturing Engineers; train operators during startups and process improvements.
• Offer daily operator support in CNC programming and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
• Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools.
• Generate workstation instructions for CNC-related issues.
• Initiate and lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and work in a matrixed organization.
