Job summary

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a 2nd shift CNC programmer to support and develop processes for large VTLs, VBMs, and 5-axis machines in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on programming, process development, and shop floor support with NX CAM and Vericut verification.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in CAM programming, familiarity with Renishaw probing, and experience with high-precision, large-format equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CAM programming experience.
• Siemens NX CAM experience preferred.
• Hands-on machining background with large-format equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program, develop processes and provide shop support for large VTL, VBMs, and 5-axis machines.
• Generate CNC programs with NX CAM for multi-axis milling/turning/grinding.
• Verify programs with Vericut before release to shop floor.
• Incorporate Renishaw probing cycles for validation and error trapping.
• Lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Provide operator training and on-site CNC troubleshooting support.
