Job summary

HireLifeScience in West Point, PA is seeking a Manager for Global Clinical Packaging Operations to lead packaging technicians and oversee compliant execution of primary and secondary packaging for clinical products. The role partners across sites and contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will coach the team, manage scheduling, ensure training, review SOPs and deviations, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining cGMP and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or another technical field-with four (4) or more years' experience in a functional area, such as Operations, Quality, Technical Operations, Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, and/or Supply Chain within pharmaceutical manufacturing OR-
• Associate's degree in science, Engineering, or another technical field-with six or more (6) years' experience in a functional area, such as Operations, Quality, Technical Operations, Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, and/or Supply Chain OR
• High school diploma with eight (8) yearsexperience in a functional area, such as Operations, Quality, Technical Operations, Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, and/or Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Directly leads activities in the packaging IPT with shopfloor presence and gowning.
• Coordinates and directs a team of clinical packaging technicians.
• Micro level scheduling to ensure personnel and maintenance/ENV monitoring availability for shopfloor execution.
• Ensure personnel operate within policies and cGMPs; escalate compliance and quality concerns.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and performance of staff.
• Coach the team to deliver strong results while developing capabilities.
• Maintain technical process knowledge; ensure documentation and products meet standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement actions to reduce deviations and lead-time.
• Review and approve production orders, SOPs, and shopfloor documentation.
• Serve as SME to support quality risk assessment and quality management systems.
