Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a Lead Clinical Case Manager to supervise a high‑acuity caseload, coordinate assessments, and link clients to services onsite. You will mentor junior staff and perform field outreach as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, LCSW/LMFT licensure eligibility, and 3+ years of complex clinical experience, with HIPAA and regulatory knowledge. On-site work with VOALA programs in LA CA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of complex clinical experience serving homelessness, addictions, under-served populations or similar.
• Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as ASW or AMFT (or equivalent).
• Current TB screening and immunization records; fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Current and valid professional license if applicable.
• BLS certification within 15 days of hire.
• Successful completion of mandated trainings within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and monitors caseload for Clinical Case Management Team.
• Conducts comprehensive screenings and assessments to develop complex case plans.
• Develops support systems and coordinates move-in activities and referrals.
• Makes home and field visits to clients weekly.
• Monitors progress and ensures regulatory compliance and quality.
• Provides referrals to community resources and ongoing counseling.
• Trains and mentors Case Management Team; conducts outreach/workshops.
• Attends court with clients as liaison and advocate.
