Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Laborer General Foreman in Reno to organize and direct craft teams according to project schedules. You will prepare and supply materials, read blueprints, and enforce safety policies while maximizing productivity.

The role requires at least five years of related experience, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to lead others, coach apprentices, and manage performance on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years related experience.
• Ability to work with tools, equipment, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate foremen and craft workers.
• Interpret specs and job orders accurately.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Analyze schedules and estimate worker-hours.
• Maintain time records and assist with cost estimates.
• Provide leadership and coaching to team members.
