Job summary

Hutchinson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from planning through delivery. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and client satisfaction while coordinating with field leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field and at least 5 years of heavy civil project experience, with strong scheduling, cost control, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of project management software and construction financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute weekly and long-range project schedules with the Superintendent.
• Staff and resource planning to meet production goals and milestones.
• Visit project sites to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with field leadership to identify and resolve operational, safety, quality, and scheduling issues.
• Manage budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
• Prepare and submit invoices, pay applications, and vendor payments; maintain financial records.
