Job summary

Civil Works Contracting is seeking a skilled Project Manager - Civil Construction to lead civil projects from inception to completion. The role requires coordinating project activities, managing resources, and ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence on site.

You will direct planning, schedules, and procurement, supervise subcontractors and consultants, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and minimum five years in civil PM are expected, with PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil construction.
• Experience leading medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Valid construction safety certifications as required by local laws/regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager - Civil Construction to oversee and lead civil construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, manage resources, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of civil construction projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams on-site.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
• Manage and resolve project risks, issues, and changes efficiently.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, clients, and senior management regarding project status and updates.
• Prepare and present project reports, documentation, and status updates.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate procurement of materials and equipment and manage inventory.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and contractual agreements.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with site development and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Primavera, HCSS, AutoCAD).
• Site-based work with regular visits to active construction locations.
• Full-time position; may require extended hours or weekends based on project needs.
• Adherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
