Job summary

Christian Care Living is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse to support the Nursing department as a Charge Nurse in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist the Director of Nursing, supervise CNAs, and ensure quality resident care around the clock.

The role requires an active RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and strong communication, organization, and leadership skills to manage care plans and respond to changes in resident condition.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is desired (not required).
• Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess Residents conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make rounds with a physician; observe symptoms, progress, and reactions to treatments.
• Administer medications within regulatory standards and nursing policies.
• Supervise CNAs during the shift to ensure quality resident care.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and prepare plans of correction.
