Sterling Senior Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care for residents in our long-term care setting. The role emphasizes supervising GNA staff, administering medications, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

You will collaborate with physicians, monitor patient conditions, and ensure care plans are followed while communicating effectively with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as RN or LPN.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of experience as RN/LPN in long-term care preferred.
• One year as CNA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality nursing care while safeguarding residents' rights and dignity.
• Supervise GNA and staff; ensure tasks completed and assignments managed.
• Administer medications and injections within licensure scope.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting of resident progress.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to physicians and DON/ADON.
• Coordinate care plans and participate in rounds with physicians as needed.
• Assist with admissions, room transfers, and effective communication with residents and families.
