Job summary

Viridian Wellness & Rehabilitation in Arlington, TX seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee CNAs, transcribe orders, administer meds, and support resident care during double weekend shifts (6AM–6PM). The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

You must hold an RN or LPN license in Texas and CPR certification; a Nursing Degree or LPN/LVN program graduate is required. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of CNAs and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Observe and document changes in resident status.
• Transcribe physician orders and carry out orders as written.
• Administer medications and perform wound treatments as needed.
• Provide nursing leadership and promote teamwork.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies.
• Participate in end-of-life care as needed.
• Promote confidentiality of protected health information.
