Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership within our skilled nursing community. You’ll oversee nursing services during assigned shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism and compassion.

You’ll work in a home‑like setting with strong team culture, excellent nurse‑to‑resident ratios, and growth opportunities through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
