Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand and upper extremity. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans in collaboration with hand surgeons and other clinicians.

Responsibilities include supervising OT assistants, evaluating progress, and managing orthotic fabrication, wound care, and return-to-work rehabilitation for post-surgical and traumatic conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• DPT or DOT preferred
• Graduate of an accredited OT program

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop plans of care for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehab
• Provide custom splinting and orthoses
• Document delivery of OT/PT services accurately
• Supervise OT Assistants, students and support staff
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians and other therapists
• Engage in post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work programs
