Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) seeks Engineering Technicians/Construction Inspectors for multiple upcoming CEI opportunities in Division 7 across Greensboro, Burlington, Reidsville, Graham, and Mebane.

Ideal candidates will hold NCDOT certifications and have hands-on CEI experience. Join a team delivering transportation projects with daily site observations, material reviews, and documentation, advancing your career at ICE.

Formación

• HS diploma required; Associate or BS in Civil Engineering is a plus.
• Roadway and bridge inspection experience is required.
• Must complete OSHA 10 within 2 weeks of hire.
• NCDOT CEI certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily observation of construction activities and document activities on required reports/forms.
• Review construction materials for contract and specification compliance.
• Inspect roadways and structures for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Evaluate structural materials, placement of culverts, and structural operations such as foundation excavation.
• Monitor placement of pilings, reinforcing and structural steel, concrete, and backfill.
• Verifies lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using survey and field engineering equipment.
• Perform accurate calculations and computations.
• Sample and test construction materials to ensure they meet the quality requirements of the project specifications.
• Review contractor submittals for conformance to project documents and specifications.
• Document and immediately report any non-compliance actions and safety violations to your immediate supervisor.
• Recording Daily Work Reports to include quantities and an objective description of the work shift activities.
