Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure efficient cashier operations. You will mentor Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks, monitor shift coverage, and help maintain store standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training new hires, flexibility with scheduling, and a customer-first attitude to support healthy living and daily store operations.

Formación

• Requires 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Out-going, friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs., move carts, and handle physical requirements as described.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively assisting at registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and security standards in the store environment.
• Oversee compliance with safety and loss prevention practices.
