Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest service, manage cashwrap operations, and support the sales team in reaching loyalty and credit goals. You will lead opening/closing duties, assist with inventory, and maintain displays to ensure a pristine shopping environment.

The role requires cashiering experience, strong communication, and the ability to train new cashiers while upholding Ulta Beauty policies and delivering an exceptional guest experience daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales and loyalty.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service and personalized recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with a licensed associate for makeup applications and demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive sales and guest experience.
