Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure fast, friendly guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards across the store. You will train new cashiers, assist in open/close procedures, and drive loyalty participation through the Ulta Beauty app and credit options.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lead by example while delivering exceptional customer service and sales results.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel and guest loyalty
• Provide exceptional guest service and personalize interactions to drive sales
• Assist in cashier training and cross-training of associates
• Manage cashwrap displays, inventory, and upkeep of store cleanliness
• Support leadership with open/close register functions and associate inspections
