Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain top‑tier cashwrap standards. The role involves training new cashiers, driving loyalty efforts, and collaborating with the leadership team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

The Lead Cashier will manage register openings/closes, assist with makeup applications and product demonstrations, and ensure cleanliness and organization across the cashwrap and store environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic technology (POS systems and Apple devices).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for guest interactions.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to support team goals.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Capable of reacting under pressure and using good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Provide exceptional guest service and personalize recommendations.
• Assist in cashier training and cross-training of associates.
• Lead cashier operations with open/close procedures and chat ins/outs.
