Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and support training of new cashiers. This role emphasizes delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving loyalty through the Ulta Beauty app and credit programs, and maintaining clean, organized cashwrap areas.

You will lead by example, perform open/close cashier tasks, coach peers, and help achieve store goals through strong service, product knowledge, and a collaborative approach

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multitask, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel and guest loyalty
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service with a guest-friendly environment
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications and demonstrations to drive sales
• Book appointments for services and in-store events
• Maintain cashwrap displays and supplies for guest-readiness
