Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators and scanners.
• Good math, cash handling skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Assign store sweeps and monitor cash register supplies.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and manage disciplinary steps.
• Maintain security and loss prevention measures.
