Job summary

The Lead Cashier will support the leadership team with register duties, ensure store cleanliness, and uphold policies while contributing to sales and loyalty goals. The position requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate to perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support services and in-store events delivering on sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness at all times.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
