Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest service excellence at the register, mentor new cashiers, and support loyalty initiatives. The LC ensures accurate transactions, great cashiering standards, and a welcoming checkout experience that reinforces Ulta Beauty’s brand promise.

You will manage open/close forms, assist with product demonstrations, and help maintain cashwrap displays while partnering with the store team to meet sales and loyalty goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet store goals related to retail and service sales, omni‑channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Provide exceptional guest service at the cashwrap; greet, engage, and personalize service for guests; recommend products/services.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Coordinate with associates to pair guests with makeup, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in‑store events to enhance the guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures to ensure guest readiness and store aesthetics.
• Monitor attendance and adhere to store policies and procedures.
