Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers, support front-end operations, and maintain high standards of customer service. You will mentor cashiers, assist with training, and ensure smooth register operations while upholding store policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience, plus leadership training.
• Must be dependable with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to be a role model for customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. horizontally/vertically and push carts up to 35 lbs..

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with day-to-day store operations.
• Visually visit registers and provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and taking disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restrooms and parking lots and monitor cash wrap area.
