Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an experienced Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team in a retail setting in California. You will mentor cashiers, ensure outstanding customer service, and manage scheduling, breaks, and training.

The role emphasizes loss prevention awareness and accurate register operations. The position requires leadership experience with cash handling, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior and strong communication.
• Ability to operate register, calculator, and scanner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service by guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state law.
• Participate in hiring and training of new Cashiers; handle disciplinary steps as needed.
• Maintain security and loss prevention awareness around exits and registers.
