Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to support shoppers in Marquette. You will help customers locate and load merchandise, demonstrate product features, and answer questions about stock, warranties, and pricing.

The role relies on strong communication and cash handling to ensure smooth store operations. Experience as a cashier and comfort with basic retail technology are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand his/her needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions
• Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in the various departmental duties or sales opportunities
