Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service following Lowe's policies daily.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Answers questions and walks customers through projects when needed.
• Communicates stock, warranties, and program details to customers.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per guidelines.
• Ensures proper change and processes returns/refunds.
• Removes security tags, bags merchandise, and assists with checkout coverage.
• Prepares register area, checks scanners, and restocks supplies.
