Qualifications

• Age 18+; HS diploma or GED; 1–2 years cashiering with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor; acts as a role model for customer service.
• Operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs., push/pull carts up to 35 lbs.
• Proficient in cash handling and numbers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps; monitor supply levels; maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state law.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and handling disciplinary actions.
