Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver an exceptional customer service experience. You will supervise cashiers, help with operational issues, and ensure smooth register operations while maintaining a friendly, safety-conscious store environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor, capable of being a role model in customer interactions.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork; attention to detail and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• At Sprouts Farmers Market, the Head Cashier supervises a team of cashiers and assists with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register and maintain cashier supply levels.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
• Grow a fast-paced, customer-focused environment by leading through example.
