Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a fast-paced team and ensure exceptional customer service at the register. You will help manage daily operations, assist with staffing, and support loss prevention efforts in a busy store environment.

The role requires leadership, cash handling proficiency, and strong communication. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected as part of the front-end team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good math and cash handling skills; able to read, write and count.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support at registers; ensure excellent customer service.
• Schedule breaks and ensure compliance with policies and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring/training cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and loss-prevention practices across the front end.
