Sprouts Farmers Market, LLC is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a cashier team and ensure superior customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will guide front-end operations, support cashiers, and help maintain checkout efficiency with a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction as a role model.
• Operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to take direction and constructive criticism.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide proactive direction and support at registers and for courtesy clerks.
• Address customer issues at the register and assist with queue management.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
