Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a Case Manager Lead to supervise a team of five case managers and oversee an inventory of about 50 high-value cases.

Reporting to the Pre-Suit Attorney, you will coordinate with Trial Attorneys to optimize case progression and ensure timely, accurate handling from inception to litigation. The role requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a background in personal injury case management or legal/insurance settings.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager.
• 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferred.
• At least 2 years of working in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Extensive computer and database expertise: Word, Excel, Outlook; type at least 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of 5 case managers, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations and training sessions.
• Proactively manage dashboards to ensure cases move forward and are handled properly.
• Oversee a high value inventory of approximately 50 cases from inception to litigation.
• Implement efficient case management strategies to streamline processes.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers.
• Monitor timelines, deadlines and milestones, addressing potential issues or delays.
• Serve as liaison between Case Management and Pre-Suit Attorney with regular updates.
• Collaborate with Trial Attorney to develop case strategies before litigation.
• Maintain quality and compliance with legal regulations and policies.
• Conduct audits and reviews to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Develop long-term strategic initiatives for the Case Management team.
